Anodized Aluminum Jump Rings do not tarnish. The finish lasts a long time and will stand up to quite a bit of wear. Aluminum is a very light weight but strong metal. These are half hard. Unlike heavier softer metals like copper and sterling silver these do not need to be work hardened. The more you wiggle the metal back and forth the more likely it is to break.
